THE PROBLEM
Our ocean, rivers and beaches are filled with plastic trash. Pollution from plastic has created a health crisis for our entire planet.
OUR SOLUTION
Led by MrBeast & Mark Rober, two of the most popular creators on the planet, we challenged the entire internet to fist bumping Mother Earth by raising $30,000,0000 to remove 30,000,000 pounds of plastic pollution and trash from our oceans, rivers and beaches. For every dollar raised, our cleanup partners, Ocean Conservancy and The Ocean Cleanup would remove one pound of trash from our precious waterways.
THE RESULTS
In just two months, #TeamSeas successfully pulled off the largest creator led crowdfunding campaign in history. The internet responded overwhelmingly with a collective “we give a sh*t” by raising over $30,000,000 from over 600,000+ #TeamSeas members. Kids from over 191 countries organized school bake sales, fundraised in their local communities and some even donated their tooth fairy money. Others created tens of thousands of creator and user generated #TeamSeas content that collectively generated well over a billion views in just two months time. Together, #TeamSeas sent a message loud and clear that we do care about our planet
